Wow, it’s been 1 year since Eric contacted us to photograph his proposal! These photos are some of the favourite images we have ever created. With spring just around the corner, and some new proposal sessions looming in the future, blossoming love is on our minds. What better time than to post the photos from this incredible day with Eric and Nancy!
Here’s how the day went down.
It was balmy and bright, with only a gentle breeze playing amongst the vines. Andy and I arrived around 6:45, where Eric was treating Nancy to a nice dinner. With a few minutes left to kill, we found our super ninja stealth spots that no one else in the universe could have ever found and patiently waited for Eric’s queue – which was a 5 minute warning text. While chilling Andy destroyed me in a best of 7 tournament paper, rock, scissor tournament.
When Eric and Nancy began strolling to the top of a row of vines overlooking Okanagan Lake, we immediately jumped into action. Andy rolled across the dirt carpet of flower beds with perfect precision, so as to not crush any of the beautiful flowers, and swung his camera off his hip. Jess peered through a bush with her ultra zoom lens. The cameras were rolling! The air was dense with love. haha. What could be better?
Without further adieu, here is a photo journey of Eric’s touching marriage proposal to Nancy in Naramata, BC.
PS…she said yes!
